Hotel Guest Reviews of the Days Inn Camarillo - Ventura

Hotel clerk was marginally competent and became unglued when I suggested that re-keying the room would prove unacceptable (as my wife would then return late that evening - after I had gone to bed - and not be able to get into the room). He was openly hostile at my objection to this solution. ...read more

I was pleasantly surprised to find a microwave, small refrigerator, iron and ironing board, and 5 pillows!
Through the bathroom window, I could hear some noise from the nearby restaurant (not theirs).

Overall, the Days Inn motel was a pleasant experience. I got more than I expected for the price - microwave, small refrig, iron and board. It was nicely decorated, and I especially like having 5 plumb pillows on the bed. Plus, the Camarillo outlets are right across the freeway. The hotel was moderately priced, but I spent a bundle at the shops! I will return to the motel (and the shops) whenever I'm down that way again. ...read more

Microwave, refrigerator and free continental breakfast.
NA.

For a one-star hotel, the Days Inn blew me away. The rooms were large, comfortable and clean. They also had microwaves and refrigerators. The hotel served a continental breakfast everyday from 6-9 am that looked delicious (though I didn't have the opportunity to try it). ...read more

Location.
Service.

The front desk was very rude during check in and the room seemed run down and old.

Close to where I am visiting.
Staff not friendly, rooms not exciting as other Days Inn.

Nice location but service wasn't that good. In comparison to other days inn this is not close to be nice.

The restaurant next to the hotel.
Dirty sheets, fitly bathroom floor with toe nails and hairs.

Personally I will never go back to this place and I will tell my friends to stay away from the day's inn facilities.

The only thing decent about this hotel was it's location to the freeway.
It was dirty. The lobby was a mess. There was mold in the shower and the linens were old and stained. The air conditioner also smelled.

This was the worst Days Inn I have ever stayed in. I realize it was not a 5 star hotel when I booked it, we were traveling to San Diego and just needed a bed to sleep in, but it was pretty bad. The desk clerk although friendly enough to me was really rude to someone who called while he was checking me in. The room was dusty, the beds were not made well, the sheets were grey looking, the towels had gross stains on them. The complimentary shampoo bottle and bar soaps had been opened. There was little water pressure in the shower and there was lots of visible mold on the tile. I was really disappointed after staying at several days inns in the past that were really nice. I most certainly won't recommend this hotel to anybody that I know. As a matter of fact I would suggest that some one go in and check out the cleanliness of the place. ...read more

Nothing.
Everything.

If you want to share your bed with roaches, this is the perfect place for you. The owner specializes in being unfriendly to all the guests. It's better to sleep on the freeway.
